This is what the LORD says: “A voice is heard in Ramah, mourning and great weeping, Rachel weeping for her children, and refusing to be comforted, because they are no more.”*

13Afei, mmabaawa bɛsa na wɔn ani agye,
mmeranteɛ ne nkɔkoraa nso.
Mɛma wɔn awerɛhoɔ adane anigyeɛ;
mɛma wɔn ahotɔ ne ahosɛpɛ asi awerɛhoɔ anan mu. 14Mɛma asɔfoɔ no deɛ ɛhia wɔn ama abu so,
na mama mʼakyɛdeɛ bebrebe amee me nkurɔfoɔ,”
Awurade, na ɔseɛ. 15Yei ne deɛ Awurade seɛ:
“Wɔte nne bi wɔ Rama,
awerɛhoɔ ne agyaadwotwa bebree,
Rahel resu ne mma
na ɔmpɛ sɛ wɔkyekyere ne werɛ,
ɛfiri sɛ, ne mma nni hɔ bio.” 16Yei ne deɛ Awurade seɛ:
“Hyɛ wo ho so na woansu
mia wʼani na woante nisuo,
ɛfiri sɛ wɔbɛtua wʼadwumayɛ so ka,”

“Wɔbɛsane afiri atamfoɔ no asase so aba. 17Enti anidasoɔ wɔ hɔ ma wo daakye.”
