He and his people with him, the most ruthless of the nations, will be brought in to destroy the land. They will draw their swords against Egypt and fill the land with the slain.

9“ ‘Saa ɛda no, asomafoɔ de ahyɛn bɛfiri me nkyɛn akɔhunahuna Kus a ne tirim yɛ no dɛ no. Ne ho bɛyera no wɔ Misraim Atemmuo da no, na ampa ara ɛbɛba mu. 10“ ‘Yei ne deɛ Otumfoɔ Awurade seɛ:
“ ‘Mede Misraim dɔm bebrebe no bɛba awieeɛ
mɛfa Babiloniahene Nebukadnessar so. 11Ɔno ne nʼakodɔm; amanaman no mu aniɛdenfoɔ,
wɔde wɔn bɛba abɛsɛe asase no.
Wɔbɛtwe wɔn akofena atia Misraim
na wɔde afunu ahyɛ asase no so ma. 12Mɛma Nil ho asutene awewe
na matɔn asase no ama nipabɔne;
menam ananafoɔ so
bɛsɛe asase no ne deɛ ɛwɔ mu nyinaa.
