Your lips, my bride, drip sweetness like the honeycomb; honey and milk are under your tongue, and the fragrance of your garments is like the aroma of Lebanon.

wode wʼani a ɛbɔɔ me soɔ,
ne wo kɔnmuadeɛ mu ɔbohemaa baako. 10Wo dɔ yɛ ahomeka, me nuabaa, mʼayeforɔ!
Hwɛ wo dɔ sɔ ani sene bobesa,
na wʼaduhwam yɛ hwam sene pɛperɛ biara. 11Adɔdɔdeɛ firi wʼano sɛ ɛwokyɛm, mʼayeforɔ;
nufosuo ne ɛwoɔ wɔ wo tɛkrɛma ase.
