Therefore I will give their wives to other men and their fields to new owners. For from the least of them to the greatest, all are greedy for gain; from prophet to priest, all practice deceit.

8“ ‘Adɛn na motumi ka sɛ, “Yɛnim nyansa,
ɛfiri sɛ yɛwɔ Awurade mmara,”
wɔ ɛberɛ a atwerɛfoɔ twerɛdua torofoɔ
de atorɔ adanedane mu? 9Anyansafoɔ no anim bɛgu ase;
wɔn ho bɛdwiri wɔn na afidie ayi wɔn.
Sɛ wɔapo Awurade asɛm no a,
na ɛdeɛn nyansa na wɔwɔ? 10Mede wɔn yerenom bɛma mmarimma foforɔ
ne wɔn mfuo nso ama afoforɔ.
Ɛfiri akumaa so kɔsi ɔkɛseɛ so,
wɔn nyinaa yɛ adifudepɛfoɔ de pɛ ahonya;
adiyifoɔ ne asɔfoɔ te saa,
