The LORD of Hosts, the God of Israel, says: “Behold, I am about to punish Amon god of Thebes,* along with Pharaoh, Egypt with her gods and kings, and those who trust in Pharaoh.

23Wɔbɛsɛe ne kwaeɛ,”
Awurade na ɔseɛ,
“sɛdeɛ ayɛ kusuu yi mpo.
Wɔdɔɔso bebree sene ntutummɛ,
na wɔrentumi nkane wɔn. 24Wɔbɛgu Ɔbabaa Misraim anim ase,
wɔde no bɛhyɛ atifi fam nnipa no nsa.” 25Asafo Awurade, Israel Onyankopɔn, ka sɛ, “Mede asotwe reba Tebes nyame Amon, Farao, Misraim ne nʼanyame ne nʼahemfo ne wɔn a wɔde wɔn ho to Farao soɔ no so. 26Mede wɔn bɛhyɛ wɔn a wɔpɛ sɛ wɔkum wɔn no nsa: Babiloniahene Nebukadnessar ne nʼadwumayɛfoɔ no.
