“The sin of Judah is written with an iron stylus, engraved with a diamond point on the tablets of their hearts and on the horns of their altars.

1“Ẹ̀ṣẹ̀ Juda ni a fi kálámù irin kọ,
èyí tí a fi ṣóńṣó òkúta adamante gbẹ́ ẹ,
sórí wàláà oókan àyà wọn,
àti sórí ìwo pẹpẹ yín. 2Kódà àwọn ọmọ wọn rántí pẹpẹ
àti ère Aṣerah lẹ́bàá igi tí ó tẹ́ rẹrẹ
àti àwọn òkè gíga. 3Àwọn òkè nínú ilẹ̀ àti àwọn ọrọ̀ rẹ̀
àti ọlá rẹ̀ ni èmi yóò fi sílẹ̀ bí ìjẹ
pẹ̀lú àwọn ibi gíga, nítorí ẹ̀ṣẹ̀ tí ó
pọ̀ káàkiri orílẹ̀-èdè yín.
