For my life is consumed with grief and my years with groaning; my iniquity has drained my strength, and my bones are wasting away.

mmom wode me nan asisi petee mu. 9Hu me mmɔbɔ, Ao Awurade, ɛfiri sɛ me ho yera me;
awerɛhoɔ ama mʼani so ayɛ kusuu
ɛyea ama me kra ne me honam ayɛ mmerɛ. 10Ateeteeɛ rete me nkwa so
na abooboo te me mfeɛ so;
ɔhaw enti mʼahoɔden kɔ fam
na me nnompe nso ahodwo. 11Mʼatamfoɔ nyinaa enti,
mayɛ ahohora wɔ me nnamfonom mu;
nnipa a wɔnim me suro me,
na wɔn a wɔhunu me mmɔntene so dwane. 12Obiara werɛ afiri me te sɛ deɛ mawuo;
mayɛ sɛ kukuo a abɔ.
