This was to fulfill the word of Isaiah the prophet: “Lord, who has believed our message? And to whom has the arm of the Lord been revealed?”*

36Ɛberɛ a mowɔ hann mu yi, monnye hann no nni na moayɛ hann no mma.” Yesu kaa nsɛm yi wieeɛ no, ɔfirii hɔ de ne ho kɔhintaeɛ. 37Ɛwom sɛ na Yesu ayɛ anwanwadeɛ ahodoɔ ama Yudafoɔ no ahunu deɛ, nanso na wɔnnye no nni ara. 38Yei ne Odiyifoɔ Yesaia asɛm a ɔkaa sɛ,
“Awurade, hwan na wagye yɛn asɛnka adi?
Na hwan nso na ɔbɛgye wʼanwanwadwuma no adi sɛ adansedie?” 39Yudafoɔ no annye anni ɛfiri sɛ, na Odiyifoɔ Yesaia asane aka sɛ, 40“Onyankopɔn afira wɔn ani,
na wapirim wɔn akoma,
sɛdeɛ ɛbɛyɛ a wɔrentumi nnane
mma me nkyɛn na masa wɔn yadeɛ.”
