Yet they would not obey or incline their ears, but each one followed the stubbornness of his evil heart. So I brought on them all the curses of this covenant I had commanded them to follow but they did not keep.”

6Awurade ka kyerɛɛ me sɛ, “Bɔ saa asɛm yi ho dawuro wɔ Yuda nkuro ne Yerusalem mmɔntene so sɛ: ‘Montie apam yi ho nhyehyɛeɛ na monni so. 7Ɛfiri ɛberɛ a, meyii mo agyanom firii Misraim bɛsi ɛnnɛ yi, mebɔɔ wɔn kɔkɔ ɛberɛ biara sɛ, “Monyɛ ɔsetie mma me.” 8Nanso, wɔantie na wɔamfa no asɛm; na mmom, wɔdii asoɔden a ɛfiri wɔn akoma bɔne mu akyi.
