between three years of famine, three months of being swept away * before your enemies and overtaken by their swords, or three days of the sword of the LORD—days of plague upon the land, with the angel of the LORD ravaging every part of Israel.’ Now then, decide how I should reply to Him who sent me.”

Yi saa asotweɛ yi mu baako na menyɛ ntia wo.’ ” 11Enti, Gad baa Dawid nkyɛn bɛkaa sɛ, “Nneɛma mmiɛnsa a Awurade de ama wo no nie: 12Wopɛ a, yi mfeɛ mmiɛnsa a ɛkɔm kɛseɛ bɛba anaa abosome mmiɛnsa a wʼatamfoɔ bɛkunkum mo anaa nnansa a ɔyaredɔm a ano yɛ den yie a, Awurade ɔbɔfoɔ nam so de ɔsɛeɛ bɛba Israel asase so. Dwene yei ho, na ma menhunu mmuaeɛ ko a memfa nkɔma Awurade.” 13Dawid buaa Gad sɛ, “Yei yɛ ahohiahiasɛm. Ma ɛmfiri Awurade nsam, ɛfiri sɛ, nʼahummɔborɔ so. Mma ɛmfiri onipa nsam.” 14Na Awurade maa ɔyaredɔm baa Israel so, maa nnipa ɔpeduɔson wuwuiɛ.
