which ate the fat of their sacrifices and drank the wine of their drink offerings? Let them rise up and help you; let them give you shelter!

36Onyenwe anyị ga-ekpe ndị ya ikpe,
ọ ga-enwe ọmịiko nʼahụ ndị ohu ya,
mgbe ọ hụrụ na ike ha nwere agwụla,
mgbe otu onye na-agaghị afọdụ, ohu na onye nwe onwe ya. 37Ọ ga-asịkwa, “Ugbu a, olee ebe chi niile ha nọ,
bụ oke nkume ahụ ha gbabara izere ndụ nʼime ya, 38chi ndị ahụ riri abụba ihe ịchụ aja ha,
ṅụọkwa mmanya ha ji chụọ aja ihe ọṅụṅụ?
Ha bilie bịa nyere unu aka!
Ha bụrụ ụlọ ndo nye unu!” 39“Ugbu a, hụnụ na mụ onwe m abụ m ya!
Ọ dịghịkwa chi ọzọ dị ma ọ bụghị m.
Mụ onwe m na-eme ka a nwụọ, mụ onwe m na-eme ka a dị ndụ.
