May that man be like the cities that the LORD overthrew without compassion. May he hear an outcry in the morning and a battle cry at noon,

14Ègbé ni fún ọjọ́ tí a bí mi!
Kí ọjọ́ tí ìyá mi bí mi má ṣe di ti ìbùkún. 15Ègbé ni fún ọkùnrin tí ó mú ìròyìn wá fún baba mi,
tí ó mú kí ó yọ̀, tí ó sì sọ wí pé,
“A bí ọmọ kan fún ọ—ọmọkùnrin!” 16Kí ọkùnrin náà dàbí ìlú
tí Olúwa gbàkóso lọ́wọ́ rẹ̀ láìkáàánú
Kí o sì gbọ́ ariwo ọ̀fọ̀ ní àárọ̀,
ariwo ogun ní ọ̀sán. 17Nítorí kò pa mí nínú,
kí ìyá mi sì dàbí títóbi ibojì mi,
kí ikùn rẹ̀ sì di títí láé. 18Èéṣe tí mo jáde nínú ikùn,
láti rí wàhálà àti ọ̀fọ̀
àti láti parí ayé mi nínú ìtìjú?
