So behold, the days are coming, declares the LORD, when this place will no longer be called Topheth or the Valley of Ben-hinnom, but the Valley of Slaughter.

4Nítorí wọ́n ti gbàgbé mi, wọ́n sì ti sọ ibí di ilé fún òrìṣà àjèjì; wọ́n ti sun ẹbọ nínú rẹ̀ fún òrìṣà tí àwọn baba wọn tàbí tí ọba Juda kò mọ̀ rí, wọ́n ti fi ẹ̀jẹ̀ aláìṣẹ̀ kún ilẹ̀ yìí. 5Wọ́n ti kọ́ ibi gíga fún Baali láti sun ọmọkùnrin wọn gẹ́gẹ́ bí ohun ẹbọ sísun sí Baali—èyí tí èmi kò pàṣẹ láti ṣe, tí èmi kò sì sọ, tàbí tí kò sì ru sókè láti inú ọkàn mi. 6Nítorí náà ṣọ́ra ọjọ́ ń bọ̀ ni Olúwa wí nígbà tí àwọn ènìyàn kì yóò pe ibí ní Tofeti mọ́ tàbí àfonífojì ọmọ Hinnomu, ṣùgbọ́n àfonífojì Ìpakúpa. 7“ ‘Ní ibí yìí ni èmi yóò ti pa èrò Juda àti Jerusalẹmu run. Èmí yóò mú wọn ṣubú nípa idà níwájú àwọn ọ̀tá wọn, lọ́wọ́ àwọn tí ó ń wá ẹ̀mí wọn. Èmi yóò sì fi òkú wọn ṣe oúnjẹ fún àwọn ẹyẹ ojú ọ̀run àti ẹranko ilẹ̀. 8Èmi yóò sọ ìlú yìí di ahoro àti ohun ẹ̀gàn, gbogbo àwọn tí ń kọjá yóò bẹ̀rù wọn yóò sì máa fòyà nítorí gbogbo ọgbẹ́ rẹ̀.
