Acts 5:21 · Berean Standard Bible
At daybreak the apostles entered the temple courts as they had been told and began to teach the people. When the high priest and his associates arrived, they convened the Sanhedrin*—the full assembly of the elders of Israel—and sent to the jail for the apostles.

19Ṣùgbọ́n ní òru, angẹli Olúwa ṣí ìlẹ̀kùn túbú; ó sì mú wọn jáde. 20Ó sì wí pé “Ẹ lọ dúró nínú tẹmpili kí ẹ sì máa ṣọ́ ọ̀rọ̀ ìyè yìí ní ẹ̀kúnrẹ́rẹ́ fún àwọn ènìyàn.” 21Nígbà tí wọ́n sì gbọ́ èyí, wọ́n wọ tẹmpili lọ ní kùtùkùtù, wọ́n sì ń kọ́ni.
Nígbà tí olórí àlùfáà àti àwọn ti ń bẹ lọ́dọ̀ rẹ̀ dé, wọn sì pè àpéjọ ìgbìmọ̀, àti gbogbo àwọn àgbàgbà àwọn ọmọ Israẹli, wọn sì ránṣẹ́ sí ilé túbú láti mú àwọn aposteli wá. 22Ṣùgbọ́n nígbà tí àwọn olùṣọ́ dé ibẹ̀ wọn kò sì rí wọn nínú túbú, wọn padà wá, wọn sísọ fún wọn pé, 23“Àwa bá ilé túbú ni títí pinpin, àti àwọn olùṣọ́ dúró lóde níwájú ìlẹ̀kùn; ṣùgbọ́n nígbà tí àwa ṣí ìlẹ̀kùn, àwa kò bá ẹnìkan nínú túbú.”
