and said, “O child of the devil and enemy of all righteousness, you are full of all kinds of deceit and trickery! Will you never stop perverting the straight ways of the Lord?

8Ṣùgbọ́n Elimu oṣó (nítorí bẹ́ẹ̀ ni ìtumọ̀ orúkọ rẹ̀) takò wọ́n, ó ń fẹ́ pa baálẹ̀ ni ọkàn dà kúrò ni ìgbàgbọ́. 9Ṣùgbọ́n Saulu ti a ń pè ni Paulu, ó kún fún Ẹ̀mí Mímọ́, ó sì tẹjúmọ́ Elimu, ó sì wí pé, 10“Ìwọ ti ó kún fún àrékérekè gbogbo, àti fún ìwà ìkà gbogbo, ìwọ ọmọ èṣù, ìwọ ọ̀tá ohun gbogbo, ìwọ kì yóò ha dẹ́kun láti máa yí ọ̀nà òtítọ́ Olúwa po? 11Ǹjẹ́ nísinsin yìí wò ó, ọwọ́ Olúwa ń bẹ lára rẹ̀, ìwọ ó sì fọjú ìwọ kì yóò rí oòrùn ní sá à kan!”
Lójúkan náà, ìkùùkuu àti òkùnkùn sí bò ó; ó sì ń wá ènìyàn kiri láti fa òun lọ́wọ́ lọ. 12Nígbà tí baálẹ̀ rí ohun tí ó ṣe, ó gbàgbọ́, ẹnu sì yà á sì ẹ̀kọ́ Olúwa.
