And David sang this song to the LORD on the day the LORD had delivered him from the hand of all his enemies and from the hand of Saul.

1Dafidi sì kọ ọ̀rọ̀ orin yìí sí Olúwa ní ọjọ́ tí Olúwa gbà á kúrò lọ́wọ́ gbogbo àwọn ọ̀tá rẹ̀, àti kúrò lọ́wọ́ Saulu. 2Ó sì wí pé,
“Olúwa ni àpáta mi, àti Olùgbàlà mi; 3Ọlọ́run mi, àpáta mi, nínú ẹni tí èmi ní ààbò,
àti ìwo ìgbàlà mi, ibi ìsádi gíga mi.
Àti ibi ìlùmọ̀ mi, Olùgbàlà mi;
ìwọ ni ó ti gbà mí kúrò lọ́wọ́ ìwà ipá.
