Now Adonijah son of Haggith went to Bathsheba the mother of Solomon, and she asked, “Do you come in peace?” “Yes, in peace,” he replied.

Ó sì dáhùn pé, “Bẹ́ẹ̀ ni, àlàáfíà ni.” 14Nígbà náà ni ó sì fi kún un pé, “Mo ní ohun kan láti sọ fún ọ.”
Batṣeba sì wí pé, “Máa wí.” 15Ó wí pé, “Gẹ́gẹ́ bí o ti mọ̀, ti tèmi ni ìjọba náà. Gbogbo Israẹli ti wò mí bí ọba wọn. Ṣùgbọ́n nǹkan yípadà, ìjọba náà sì ti lọ sí ọ̀dọ̀ arákùnrin mi, nítorí ó ti wá sọ́dọ̀ rẹ̀ láti ọwọ́ Olúwa wá.
