Now the Passover and the Feast of Unleavened Bread * were two days away, and the chief priests and scribes were looking for a covert way to arrest Jesus and kill Him.

1Aka nnanu na Twam Afahyɛ* ne Apiti Afahyɛ a ɛyɛ Yudafoɔ ahomegyeɛ nna no aduru no, asɔfoɔ mpanin ne Atwerɛsɛm no akyerɛkyerɛfoɔ no hwehwɛɛ nyansakwan a wɔbɛfa so akye Yesu, akum no. 2Nanso, wɔkaa sɛ, “Yɛrenkyere no afahyɛ no mu, anyɛ saa a ɛde basabasa bɛba ɔman no mu.” 3Yesu wɔ Betania na ɔne Simon kwatani redidi no, ɔbaa bi a ɔkura ngo hwamhwam bi a ne bo yɛ den baa hɔ. Ɔtuu ano, hwie guu Yesu tirim.
