Woe to those who devise iniquity and plot evil on their beds! At morning’s light they accomplish it because the power is in their hands.

wɔn a wɔbɔ ɛpɔ bɔne wɔ wɔn mpa so!
Wɔsɔre anɔpa kɔdi dwuma no
ɛfiri sɛ wɔwɔ tumi sɛ wɔyɛ. 2Wɔn ani bere mfuo na wɔgye.
Na afie nso wɔfa.
Wɔde nyansa korɔno gye nkurɔfoɔ afie,
na ayɔnkofoɔ agyapadeɛ nso wɔgye. 3Enti, sɛdeɛ Awurade seɛ nie,
“Meredwene amanehunu a ɛtia saa nkurɔfoɔ yi ho
na worentumi nnyi wo ho mfiri mu.
Worentumi nnante ahantan so bio,
ɛfiri sɛ ɛbɛyɛ ɛberɛ bɔne.
