When she had said this, she turned around and saw Jesus standing there; but she did not recognize that it was Jesus.

12na ɔhunuu ɔsoro abɔfoɔ baanu a wɔhyehyɛ ntadeɛ fitafitaa a ɔbaako te atifi na ɔbaako nso te anafoɔ wɔ faako a na Yesu amu no da no. 13Wɔbisaa no sɛ, “Ɔbaa, adɛn na woresu sɛɛ yi?”
Maria de awerɛhoɔ buaa sɛ, “Nnipa bi abɛfa mʼAwurade na mennim faako a wɔde no akɔto.” 14Afei, ɔtwaa nʼani hwɛɛ nʼakyi na ɔhunuu sɛ na obi gyina hɔ a ɛyɛ Yesu, nanso na ɔnnim sɛ ɛyɛ ɔno. 15Yesu bisaa no sɛ, “Ɔbaa, adɛn enti na woresu sɛɛ yi? Hwan na worehwehwɛ no?”
Na Maria deɛ ɔsusu sɛ ɛyɛ turom hɔ hwɛfoɔ enti, ɔbisaa no sɛ, “Owura, sɛ wo na wofaa no firii ha a, mesrɛ wo, kyerɛ me faako a wode no akɔto na menkɔfa no.” 16Yesu frɛɛ no sɛ, “Maria!”
Maria twaa nʼani hwɛɛ no na ɔgyee so wɔ Hebri kasa mu sɛ, “Rabuni!” (a aseɛ ne “Ɔkyerɛkyerɛfoɔ”).
