“Whoever flees the panic will fall into the pit, and whoever climbs from the pit will be caught in the snare. For I will bring upon Moab the year of their punishment,” declares the LORD.

bɛtɔ nkomena mu,
deɛ ɔbɛforo afiri nkomena no mu no,
afidie bɛyi no;
na mede Moab asotwe afe no bɛba ne so,”
Awurade na ɔseɛ. 45“Hesbon nwunu ase
na adwanefoɔ no gyinagyina a wɔnni mmoa biara,
ɛfiri sɛ ogya bi atu afiri Hesbon;
ɛgyadɛreɛ bi firi Sihon mfimfini;
ɛhye Moabfoɔ moma,
ne ahohoahoafoɔ a wɔn ano yɛ den no ti kwankoraa. 46Nnome nka wo Ao, Moab!
Wɔasɛe Kemos nkurɔfoɔ no;
wɔde wo mmammarima kɔ nnommumfa mu
na wo mmammaa nso kɔ nkoasom mu.
