And with whom was God angry for forty years? Was it not with those who sinned, whose bodies fell in the wilderness?

“Sɛ ɛnnɛ mote Onyankopɔn nne a,
monnyɛ asoɔden
te sɛ deɛ moyɛɛ ɛberɛ a mosɔre tiaa Onyankopɔn no.” 16Ɛhefoɔ na wɔtee Onyankopɔn nne na wɔsɔre tiaa no no? Nnipa a Mose dii wɔn anim firi Misraim no nyinaa. 17Ɛhefoɔ na Onyankopɔn bo fuu wɔn mfirinhyia aduanan no? Nnipa a wɔyɛɛ bɔne na wɔtete hwe wuwuu wɔ ɛserɛ so no. 18Ɛberɛ a Onyankopɔn kaa ntam sɛ, “Wɔremma me home mu da” no, na ɔreka akyerɛ ɛhefoɔ? Na ɔreka akyerɛ wɔn a wɔyɛɛ asoɔden no. 19Afei, yɛhunu sɛ wɔantumi ankɔ home no mu, ɛfiri sɛ, wɔannye anni.
