Therefore this is what the Lord GOD says: ‘Like the wood of the vine among the trees of the forest, which I have given to the fire for fuel, so I will give up the people of Jerusalem.

4Na sɛ wɔde ne nyina hyɛ ogya mu na etire ne etire hye ma mfimfini yɛ bidie a, ɛho ba mfasoɔ bi anaa? 5Na sɛ ɛho amma mfasoɔ ɛberɛ a ɛdi mu a, ɛbɛyɛ den na wɔbɛtumi de ayɛ mfasodeɛ bi, ɛberɛ a ahye adane bidie? 6“Enti yei ne deɛ Otumfoɔ Awurade seɛ: Sɛdeɛ mede bobe dua a ɛfera kwaeɛm nnua mu ama sɛ wɔmfa nsɔ ogya no, saa ɛkwan no so na mede nnipa a wɔte Yerusalem no bɛfa. 7Mɛtu mʼani asi wɔn so. Ɛwom sɛ wafiri ogya no mu deɛ, nanso ɛbɛhye wɔn bio. Na sɛ metu mʼani si wɔn so a, wobɛhunu sɛ mene Awurade. 8Mɛma asase no ada mpan, ɛfiri sɛ wɔanni nokorɛ, Otumfoɔ Awurade asɛm nie.”
