Then Moses led Israel from the Red Sea, and they went out into the Desert of Shur. For three days they walked in the desert without finding water.

20Ɛhɔ na Odiyifoɔ baa Miriam a ɔyɛ Aaron nuabaa faa twene bi bɔ de dii mmaa no anim ma wɔsaeɛ. 21Ɛnna Miriam too saa dwom yi:
“Monto dwom mma Awurade
na wadi nkonim animuonyam mu.
Wama ɔpɔnkɔ ne ne sotefoɔ
amem ɛpo ase.” 22Afei, Mose dii Israelfoɔ no anim ne wɔn tu firii Ɛpo Kɔkɔɔ no ho kɔɔ Sur ɛserɛ so. Na wɔnantee ɛserɛ no so nnansa a wɔannya nsuo annom. 23Wɔduruu Mara no, wɔantumi annom ɛhɔ nsuo, ɛfiri sɛ, na ɛyɛ nwono. Ɛno enti na wɔfrɛ hɔ Mara no; aseɛ ne: Nwononwono. 24Afei, nnipa no danee wɔn ani tiaa Mose sɛ, “Osukɔm nku yɛn anaa?”
