Then Saul said to his servants, “Find me a woman who is a medium, so I can go and consult her.” “There is a medium at Endor,” his servants replied.

5Ɛberɛ a Saulo hunuu Filistifoɔ akodɔm dodoɔ no, ɔsuroeɛ, maa ehu bɛhyɛɛ nʼakoma ma. 6Ɔbisaa Awurade deɛ ɔnyɛ nanso Awurade ammua no, wɔ adaeɛsoɔ anaa ntontobɔ kronkron anaa adiyifoɔ so. 7Saulo ka kyerɛɛ nʼafotufoɔ sɛ, “Monhwehwɛ ɔbaa samanfrɛfoɔ bi mma me, na menkɔ ne hɔ abisa.”
Nʼafotufoɔ no buaa sɛ, “Ɔbaa samanfrɛfoɔ bi wɔ Endor.” 8Enti, Saulo sesaa ne ho, hyɛɛ ntadeɛ afoforɔ nsakyeramu bi a ɛnyɛ ɔhene afadeɛ, na ɔne mmarima no mu baanu kɔɔ ɔbaa no nkyɛn anadwo. Saulo kaa sɛ, “Ɛsɛ sɛ me ne obi a wawu kasa. Wobɛtumi afrɛ ne sunsum ama me anaa?” 9Ɔbaa no bisaa sɛ, “Wopɛ sɛ wɔkum me anaa? Wonim sɛ Saulo apamo asamanfrɛfoɔ ne ahohomfrɛfoɔ nyinaa afiri asase yi so. Adɛn enti na wosum me afidie?”
