So Elisha turned back from him, took his pair of oxen, and slaughtered them. With the oxen’s equipment, he cooked the meat and gave it to the people, and they ate. Then he set out to follow and serve Elijah.

19Na Elia kɔhunuu Safat babarima Elisa sɛ ɔde anantwie refuntum afuo. Na anantwie mpamho dubaako na wɔdi nʼanim, ɛnna Elisa nso de mpamho a ɛtɔ so dumienu refuntum. Elia kɔɔ ne nkyɛn kɔtoo nʼatadeɛ guu ne mmati so, na ɔsane nʼakyi kɔeɛ. 20Elisa gyaa anantwie no hɔ, tuu mmirika dii Elia akyi, ka kyerɛɛ no sɛ, “Deɛ ɛdi ɛkan no, ma menkɔkra mʼagya ne me maame ansa na me ne wo akɔ.”
