When the Philistines heard that David had been anointed king over all Israel, they all went in search of him; but David learned of this and went out to face them.

Na wɔka kyerɛɛ Dawid sɛ wɔreba ne so, enti ɔno nso ne ne mmarima firii kuro no mu kɔhyiaa wɔn. 9Na Filistifoɔ no abɛduru Refaim bɔnhwa mu, asɛe hɔ pasaa. 10Enti, Dawid bisaa Onyankopɔn sɛ, “Mempue na me ne Filistifoɔ no nkɔko? Wode wɔn bɛhyɛ me nsa anaa?”
Awurade buaa sɛ, “Aane, wo ne wɔn nkɔko, na mɛma woadi wɔn so nkonim.”
