This is the burden of the word of the LORD against the land of Hadrach and Damascus its resting place— for the eyes of men and of all the tribes of Israel are upon the LORD *—

Nke a bụ okwu Onyenwe anyị megide ala Hadrak,
na obodo Damaskọs ka ọ ga-ezukwa ike,
nʼihi nʼebe Onyenwe anyị nọ ka anya mmadụ niile
na ebo niile nke Izrel dị. 2Otu ahụkwa ka ọ dị Hamat, nke dị ya nso;
tinyekwara Taịa na Saịdọn, ọ bụ ezie na ha bụ ndị maara ihe nke ukwu. 3Taịa ewuolara onwe ya ebe e wusiri ike,
tụkọba ọlaọcha dịka aja,
na ọlaedo dịka uzuzu nke okporoụzọ.
