Ha zara ya, “Otu nwoke zutere anyị nʼụzọ sị anyị, ‘Laghachi ga zie eze ahụ zitere unu sị ya: “Ihe ndị a, ka Onyenwe anyị kwuru, Ọ bụ nʼihi na Chineke anọghị nʼIzrel ka i ji zipụ ndị mmadụ ka ha gaa jụta ase site nʼaka Baal-Zebub, chi ndị Ekrọn? Nʼihi nke a, ị gaghị esite nʼihe ndina gị bilie. Ya doo gị anya na ị ghaghị ịnwụ!” ’ ”

They replied, “A man came up to meet us and said, ‘Go back to the king who sent you and tell him that this is what the LORD says: Is it because there is no God in Israel that you are sending these men to inquire of Baal-zebub, the god of Ekron? Therefore you will not get up from the bed on which you are lying. You will surely die.’”

4Nʼihi nke a, otu a ka Onyenwe anyị kwuru, ‘Ị gaghị esite nʼelu ihe ndina ahụ bilie. Ị ghaghị ịnwụ!’ ” Ya mere Ịlaịja pụrụ gaa zie ndị ozi eze ozi ahụ. 5Ndị ozi ahụ laghachiri azụ. Ma mgbe eze hụrụ ha, ọ jụrụ ha sị, “Gịnị mere unu ji lọghachi?” 6Ha zara ya, “Otu nwoke zutere anyị nʼụzọ sị anyị, ‘Laghachi ga zie eze ahụ zitere unu sị ya: “Ihe ndị a, ka Onyenwe anyị kwuru, Ọ bụ nʼihi na Chineke anọghị nʼIzrel ka i ji zipụ ndị mmadụ ka ha gaa jụta ase site nʼaka Baal-Zebub, chi ndị Ekrọn? Nʼihi nke a, ị gaghị esite nʼihe ndina gị bilie. Ya doo gị anya na ị ghaghị ịnwụ!” ’ ” 7Eze jụrụ ha sị, “Onye bụ nwoke a zutere unu nʼụzọ gwa unu okwu ndị a? Olee ụdị mmadụ ọ bụ?” 8Ha zaghachiri ya, “Ọ bụ nwoke yi uwe e ji ajị anụ kpaa; o kere ihe okike akpụkpọ anụ nʼukwu ya.”
