But I will deliver you on that day, declares the LORD, and you will not be delivered into the hands of the men whom you fear.

15Nígbà tí Jeremiah wà nínú túbú, ọ̀rọ̀ Olúwa tọ̀ ọ́ wá wí pé: 16“Lọ sọ fún Ebedimeleki ará Kuṣi, ‘Èyí ni ohun tí Olúwa àwọn ọmọ-ogun, Ọlọ́run Israẹli wí: Èmi ṣetán láti mú ọ̀rọ̀ mi ṣẹ lórí ìlú yìí nípa àjálù kì í ṣe àlàáfíà. Ní àkókò náà ni yóò ṣẹ lójú rẹ. 17Ṣùgbọ́n, Èmi yóò gbà ọ́ lọ́jọ́ náà ni Olúwa wí. A kò ní fi ọ́ lé ọwọ́ àwọn tí o bẹ̀rù. 18Èmi yóò gbà ọ́ là; o kò ní ṣubú láti ipa idà; ṣùgbọ́n ìwọ yóò sá àsálà fún ẹ̀mí rẹ, nítorí pé ìwọ ní ìgbẹ́kẹ̀lé nínú mi, ni Olúwa wí.’ ”
