Therefore, since we have a great high priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold firmly to what we profess.

12Nítorí ọ̀rọ̀ Ọlọ́run yè, ó sì ní agbára, ó sì mu ju idàkídà olójú méjì lọ, ó sì ń gún ni, àní títí dé pínpín ọkàn àti ẹ̀mí ní yà, àti ní oríkèé àti ọ̀rá inú egungun, òun sì ni olùmọ̀ èrò inú àti ète ọkàn. 13Kò sí ẹ̀dá kan tí kò farahàn níwájú rẹ̀, ṣùgbọ́n ohun gbogbo ni ó wà níhòhò tí a sì ṣípáyà fún ojú rẹ̀, níwájú ẹni tí àwa yóò jíyìn. 14Ǹjẹ́ bí a ti ní olórí àlùfáà ńlá kan, tí ó ti la àwọn ọ̀run kọjá lọ, Jesu Ọmọ Ọlọ́run, ẹ jẹ́ kí a di ìjẹ́wọ́ wa mú ṣinṣin. 15Nítorí a kò ní olórí àlùfáà tí kò lè ṣàì ba ni kẹ́dùn nínú àìlera wa, ẹni tí a ti dánwò lọ́nà gbogbo gẹ́gẹ́ bí àwa, ṣùgbọ́n òun kò dẹ́ṣẹ̀. 16Nítorí náà, ẹ jẹ́ kí a wá si ibi ìtẹ́ oore-ọ̀fẹ́ pẹ̀lú ìgboyà, kí a lè rí àánú gbà, kí a sì rí oore-ọ̀fẹ́ láti máa ran ni lọ́wọ́ ní àkókò tí ó wọ̀.
