Now it was reported to King David, “The LORD has blessed the house of Obed-edom and all that belongs to him, because of the ark of God.” So David went and had the ark of God brought up from the house of Obed-edom into the City of David with rejoicing.

10Dafidi kò sì fẹ́ mú àpótí ẹ̀rí Olúwa sọ́dọ̀ rẹ̀ sí ìlú Dafidi; ṣùgbọ́n Dafidi sì mú un yà sí ilé Obedi-Edomu ará Gitti. 11Àpótí ẹ̀rí Olúwa sì gbé ní ilé Obedi-Edomu ará Gitti ní oṣù mẹ́ta; Olúwa sì bùkún fún Obedi-Edomu, àti gbogbo ilé rẹ̀. 12A sì rò fún Dafidi ọba pé, “Olúwa ti bùkún fún ilé Obedi-Edomu, àti gbogbo èyí tí í ṣe tirẹ̀, nítorí àpótí ẹ̀rí Ọlọ́run.” Dafidi sì lọ, ó sì mú àpótí ẹ̀rí náà gòkè láti ilé Obedi-Edomu wá sí ìlú Dafidi pẹ̀lú ayọ̀. 13Ó sì ṣe nígbà tí àwọn ènìyàn tí ó ru àpótí ẹ̀rí Olúwa bá sì ṣí ẹsẹ̀ mẹ́fà, òun a sì fi màlúù àti ẹran àbọ́pa rú ẹbọ. 14Dafidi sì fi gbogbo agbára rẹ̀ jó níwájú Olúwa; Dafidi sì wọ efodu ọ̀gbọ̀.
