Because they were ignorant of God’s righteousness and sought to establish their own, they did not submit to God’s righteousness.

1Anuanom, deɛ mʼakoma pere hwehwɛ yɛ me mpaeɛ a mebɔ srɛ Onyankopɔn ma Israelfoɔ sɛ wɔbɛnya nkwagyeɛ. 2Mɛtumi madi wɔn ho adanseɛ sɛ wɔyɛ nnipa a wɔde mmɔdemmɔ som Onyankopɔn sɛdeɛ ɛsɛ. Nanso, wɔn som no mfiri nimdeɛ mu. 3Wɔammu tenenee a ɛfiri Onyankopɔn no, na mmom wɔpɛɛ sɛ wɔfa wɔn ankasa nimdeɛ so.
