25Ababaawa yi de ahoɔherɛ sane baa ɔhene no nkyɛn bɛka kyerɛɛ no sɛ, “Mepɛ sɛ wode Yohane Osubɔni tiri to prɛte mu ma me seesei ara!” 26Yei maa ɔhene no werɛ hoeɛ, nanso ɛsiane sɛ na waka ntam wɔ nnipa no anim no enti, wammu ɛbɔ a ɔhyɛɛ ne babaa no so. 27Herode somaa nʼasraafoɔ no mu baako sɛ ɔnkɔ afiase hɔ nkɔtwa Yohane ti mfa mmrɛ no.
