But when the tenants saw the son, they discussed it among themselves and said, ‘This is the heir. Let us kill him, and the inheritance will be ours.’

Mɛsoma me ba a medɔ no no akɔ wɔn nkyɛn na ɔno deɛ ebia, wɔbɛfɛre no.’ 14“Nanso, ɛberɛ a apaafoɔ no hunuu no no, wɔkaa sɛ, ‘Ɔdedifoɔ no nie, momma yɛnkum no na yɛmfa nʼagyapadeɛ no.’ 15Wɔtwee no firii afuo no mu kɔkumm no.
“Mogye di sɛ ɛdeɛn na afuowura no bɛyɛ saa apaafoɔ yi? 16Ɔbɛba abɛkum saa apaafoɔ yi na ɔde afuo no ama afoforɔ.”
