Or what king on his way to war with another king will not first sit down and consider whether he can engage with ten thousand men the one coming against him with twenty thousand?

29Anyɛ saa na ɔhyɛ ɛdan no ase na wantumi anwie a, wɔn a wɔhunu no nyinaa bɛsere no, 30aka sɛ, ‘Onipa yi hyɛɛ aseɛ sɛ ɔresi ɛdan, nanso wantumi anwie’. 31“Anaasɛ ɔhene bɛn na ɔkura asraafoɔ ɔpedu na ɔrekɔhyia ɔsahene foforɔ a ɔkura asraafoɔ ɔpeduonu a, ɔrenkari ne ho nhwɛ ansa na wakɔ akono? 32Na sɛ ɔhwɛ na ɔrentumi nso a, ansa koraa na ɔsahene foforɔ no bɛbɛn no no, ɔtu abɔfoɔ kɔhunu no sɛ, ɔmma wɔnsiesie wɔn ntam na asomdwoeɛ mmra. 33Ɛno enti, obiara a wampa ne ho akyi no rentumi nyɛ me suani.
