Na sɛ Kanaanfoɔ ne nnipa a aka a wɔtete asase yi so te saa asɛm yi a, wɔbɛtwa yɛn ho ahyia na wɔatɔre yɛn ase afiri asase yi so. Na afei ɛdeɛn na wobɛyɛ de ahyɛ wo din kɛseɛ a ɛwɔ animuonyam no?”

Joshua 7:9 · Berean Standard Bible
When the Canaanites and all who live in the land hear about this, they will surround us and wipe out our name from the earth. Then what will You do for Your great name?”

7Afei, Yosua su frɛɛ Awurade sɛ, “Otumfoɔ Awurade, adɛn na wode yɛn twaa Asubɔnten Yordan a wonim sɛ Amorifoɔ no bɛkunkum yɛn? Sɛ yɛnim a, anka yɛtenaa Asubɔnten Yordan agya hɔ ara. 8Awurade, seesei a Israelfoɔ adwane afiri wɔn atamfoɔ anim yi, asɛm bɛn na menka? 9Na sɛ Kanaanfoɔ ne nnipa a aka a wɔtete asase yi so te saa asɛm yi a, wɔbɛtwa yɛn ho ahyia na wɔatɔre yɛn ase afiri asase yi so. Na afei ɛdeɛn na wobɛyɛ de ahyɛ wo din kɛseɛ a ɛwɔ animuonyam no?” 10Na Awurade ka kyerɛɛ Yosua sɛ, “Sɔre! Adɛn enti na wode wʼanim abutu hɔ saa? 11Israel ayɛ bɔne. Wɔabu mʼapam no so. Wɔawia nneɛma a mehyɛɛ sɛ wɔnnya mma me no. Na ɛnyɛ sɛ wɔawia nko, na mmom, wɔatwa ho nkontompo de asie wɔn nneɛma mu.
