Israel has sinned; they have transgressed My covenant that I commanded them, and they have taken some of what was devoted to destruction. Indeed, they have stolen and lied, and they have put these things with their own possessions.

9Na sɛ Kanaanfoɔ ne nnipa a aka a wɔtete asase yi so te saa asɛm yi a, wɔbɛtwa yɛn ho ahyia na wɔatɔre yɛn ase afiri asase yi so. Na afei ɛdeɛn na wobɛyɛ de ahyɛ wo din kɛseɛ a ɛwɔ animuonyam no?” 10Na Awurade ka kyerɛɛ Yosua sɛ, “Sɔre! Adɛn enti na wode wʼanim abutu hɔ saa? 11Israel ayɛ bɔne. Wɔabu mʼapam no so. Wɔawia nneɛma a mehyɛɛ sɛ wɔnnya mma me no. Na ɛnyɛ sɛ wɔawia nko, na mmom, wɔatwa ho nkontompo de asie wɔn nneɛma mu. 12Ɛno enti na Israelfoɔ adi nkoguo na wɔredwane afiri wɔn atamfoɔ anim. Seesei deɛ, wɔayi Israel asi hɔ ama ɔsɛeɛ. Merenka mo ho bio, gye sɛ mosɛe biribiara a ɛwɔ mo nkyɛn a anka ɛsɛ sɛ mosɛe no. 13“Sɔre! Kɔka kyerɛ nnipa no sɛ, ‘Obiara nkɔdwira ne ho mma ɔkyena, na saa na Awurade, Israel Onyankopɔn seɛ: Ao, Israel, mode nneɛma a anka ɛsɛ sɛ wɔgya ma Awurade no ahinta mo mu.
