know for sure that the LORD your God will no longer drive out these nations before you. Instead, they will become for you a snare and a trap, a scourge in your sides and thorns in your eyes, until you perish from this good land that the LORD your God has given you.

Mmom, wɔbɛyɛ afidie ama mo, ɔyea wɔ mo mfe mu ne kasɛɛ a ɛhyɛ mo aniwa mu, na wɔbɛtɔre mo ase afiri asase pa yi a Awurade, mo Onyankopɔn de ama mo yi so. 14“Ɛrenkyɛre biara mɛwu, sɛdeɛ obiara korɔ no. Mo akoma mu no monim sɛ ɛbɔ biara a Awurade, mo Onyankopɔn hyɛeɛ no aba mu. Bɔhyɛ no mu biara nni hɔ a amma mu! 15Nanso, sɛdeɛ Awurade, mo Onyankopɔn de nnepa a ɔhyɛɛ ho bɔ maa mo no, saa ara na sɛ moannyɛ ɔsetie amma no a ɔde amanehunu bɛba mo so.
