So the five kings of the Amorites—the kings of Jerusalem, Hebron, Jarmuth, Lachish, and Eglon—joined forces and advanced with all their armies. They camped before Gibeon and made war against it.

Wɔde wɔn akodɔm no gyinagyinaeɛ, na afei wɔto hyɛɛ Gibeon so. 6Na Gibeonfoɔ no soma kɔɔ Yosua nkyɛn wɔ Gilgal. Wɔkɔka kyerɛɛ no sɛ, “Nnyaa wʼasomfoɔ. Bra yɛn nkyɛn ntɛm bɛgye yɛn nkwa! Bɛboa yɛn, ɛfiri sɛ, Amorifoɔ ahemfo a wɔte mmepɔ so de wɔn akodɔm rebɛko atia yɛn.” 7Enti, Yosua ne Israel akodɔm nyinaa firii Gilgal sɛ wɔrekoboa Gibeonfoɔ.
