When Jesus saw him lying there and realized that he had spent a long time in this condition, He asked him, “Do you want to get well?”

4Deɛ ɛteɛ ne sɛ, sɛ ɔbɔfoɔ no hono nsuo no wie a, ɔyarefoɔ a ɔbɛdi ɛkan atɔ nsuo no mu no nya ayaresa. 5Na ɔbarima bi ayare ada ɔtadeɛ no ho mfeɛ aduasa nwɔtwe. 6Yesu hunuu sɛ wayare ada hɔ akyɛre no, ɔbisaa no sɛ, “Wopɛ sɛ wo ho yɛ wo den anaa?” 7Ɔyarefoɔ no buaa no sɛ, “Me wura, sɛ ɔbɔfoɔ no bɛhono nsuo no a, mennya obi a ɔbɛma me so ato mu. Ɛberɛ biara a mɛbɔ me ho mmɔden sɛ merekɔ nsuo no mu no, obi di me ɛkan.” 8Yesu ka kyerɛɛ no sɛ, “Sɔre! Bobɔ wo kɛtɛ na kɔ efie.”
