and he went back into the Praetorium. “Where are You from?” he asked. But Jesus gave no answer.

7Yudafoɔ no buaa sɛ, “Yɛwɔ mmara a ɛkyerɛ sɛ, ɛsɛ sɛ ɔwu, ɛfiri sɛ, ɔkaa sɛ, ɔyɛ Onyankopɔn Ba.” 8Ɛberɛ a Pilato tee asɛm a wɔkaeɛ no, ɔbɔɔ hu yie. 9Ɔsane kɔɔ ahemfie hɔ kɔbisaa Yesu sɛ, “Ɛhe na wofiri?” Nanso Yesu ammua no. 10Pilato bisaa no sɛ, “Woremmua me anaa? Ɛsɛ sɛ wohunu sɛ, mewɔ tumi sɛ megyaa wo na mewɔ tumi nso sɛ mema wɔbɔ wo asɛnnua mu!” 11Yesu buaa no sɛ, “Sɛ Onyankopɔn amfa saa tumi no amma wo a, anka wonni me so tumi biara. Enti onipa a ɔde me brɛɛ wo no na wayɛ bɔne a ɛso.”
