It was the day of Preparation for the Passover, about the sixth hour.* And Pilate said to the Jews, “Here is your King!”

12Ɛberɛ a Pilato tee asɛm a Yesu kaeɛ no, ɔhwehwɛɛ ɛkwan bi a ɔbɛfa so agyaa no. Nanso, Yudafoɔ no teateaam sɛ, “Sɛ wogyaa no a, na wonyɛ Kaesare adamfo! Obiara a ɔyɛ ne ho ɔhene no tia Kaesare!” 13Ɛberɛ a Pilato tee asɛm a Yudafoɔ no kaeɛ no, ɔde Yesu firii adi na ɔbɛtenaa nʼatemmuo adwa so wɔ faako a wɔfrɛ hɔ Aboɔ Nsɛmeeɛ, a Hebri kasa mu, ɛyɛ “Gabata.” 14Adeɛ rebɛkye ama Twam Afahyɛ no aduru so no, ɛbɛyɛ owigyinaeɛ no.
