The gatekeeper opens the gate for him, and the sheep listen for his voice. He calls his own sheep by name and leads them out.

1“Mereka nokorɛ akyerɛ mo, onipa biara a ɔmfa nnwammuo ɛkwan ano na ɔforo kɔ mu no yɛ owifoɔ. 2Onipa a ɔfa ɛkwan ano kɔ mu no ne odwanhwɛfoɔ no. 3Ɛpono no anohwɛfoɔ no bue ɛpono no ma no, na sɛ ɔfrɛ nnwan no nso a, wɔte ne nne ma ɔde wɔn firi adi. 4Sɛ ɔde wɔn firi adi a, ɔdi nnwan no anim na nnwan no nso di nʼakyi, ɛfiri sɛ, wɔte ne nne. 5Wɔrenni onipa foforɔ biara akyi. Na sɛ ɔfrɛ wɔn a, wɔremma, ɛfiri sɛ, wɔnte ne nne.”
