Then the cities of Judah and the residents of Jerusalem will go and cry out to the gods to which they have been burning incense, but these gods certainly will not save them in their time of disaster.

10Wɔasane kɔ wɔn agyanom a wɔampɛsɛ wɔtie mʼasɛm no, bɔne ho. Wɔadi anyame foforɔ akyi akɔsom wɔn. Yerusalem fiefoɔ ne Yuda fiefoɔ abu apam a me ne wɔn agyanom yɛeɛ no so. 11Ɛno enti deɛ Awurade seɛ nie: ‘Mede amanehunu a wɔrentumi nnwane mfiri mu bɛba wɔn so. Ɛwom sɛ, wɔsufrɛ me deɛ, nanso merennye wɔn so. 12Yuda nkuro ne Yerusalemfoɔ bɛkɔ akɔsu afrɛ anyame a wɔhye nnuhwam ma wɔn no, nanso sɛ amanehunu ba a wɔrentumi mmoa wɔn koraa. 13Ao Yuda, wowɔ anyame a wɔn dodoɔ bɛyɛ sɛ wo nkuro; na afɔrebukyia a moasisi sɛ mobɛhye nnuhwam wɔ so ama animguaseɛ nyame Baal no dɔɔso sɛ Yerusalem mmɔntene.’ 14“Mmɔ mpaeɛ mma saa nnipa yi, nni mma wɔn na nsrɛ mma wɔn, ɛfiri sɛ, sɛ wɔsu frɛ me wɔ wɔn amanehunu mu a, merennye wɔn so.
