For all that is in the world—the desires of the flesh, the desires of the eyes, and the pride of life—is not from the Father but from the world.

ɛfiri sɛ, mowɔ ahoɔden,
na Onyankopɔn asɛm no te mo mu,
na moadi ɔbonsam so. 15Monnnɔ ewiase anaasɛ biribiara a ɛyɛ ewiase dea. Sɛ modɔ ewiase a, na ɛkyerɛ sɛ monnnɔ Agya a ɔwɔ mo mu no. 16Biribiara a ɛyɛ ewiase dea, honam akɔnnɔ, deɛ nnipa hunu na wɔn kɔn dɔ, biribiara a ɛwɔ ewiase a nnipa hoahoa wɔn ho wɔ ho no, emu biara mfiri Agya no. Wɔka kyerɛɛ mo sɛ Kristo Tamfoɔ no bɛba, nanso seesei, Kristo atamfoɔ bebree ada wɔn ho adi, enti yɛahunu sɛ ampa awieeɛ no abɛn.
