The allotment for the descendants of Joseph extended from the Jordan at Jericho to the waters of Jericho on the east, through the wilderness that goes up from Jericho into the hill country of Bethel.

1Mgawanyo wa Yosefu ulianzia Yordani ya Yeriko, mashariki mwa miji ya Yeriko na kutoka hapo ulipanda kupitia jangwani na kuingia katika nchi ya vilima ya Betheli. 2Ukaendelea kutoka Betheli (ndiyo Luzu), ukavuka kuingia eneo la Waariki huko Atarothi, 3ukateremkia kuelekea magharibi hadi eneo la Wayafleti ukienea hadi eneo la Beth-Horoni ya Chini hadi Gezeri, ukiishia baharini.
