48Ǹjẹ́ nínú àwọn ìjòyè, tàbí àwọn Farisi ti gbà á gbọ́ bí? 49Ṣùgbọ́n ìjọ ènìyàn yìí, tí ko mọ òfin di ẹni ìfibú.” 50Nikodemu ẹni tí ó tọ Jesu wá lóru rí, tí ó sì jẹ́ ọ̀kan nínú wọn sì sọ fún wọn pé, 51“Òfin wa ha ń ṣe ìdájọ́ ènìyàn kí ó tó gbọ́ ti ẹnu rẹ̀ àti kí ó tó mọ ohun tí ó ṣe bí?” 52Wọ́n dáhùn wọ́n sì wí fún un pé, “Ìwọ pẹ̀lú wá láti Galili bí? Wá kiri, kí o sì wò nítorí kò sí wòlíì kan tí ó ti Galili dìde.”
