In this way I have aspired to preach the gospel where Christ was not known, so that I would not be building on someone else’s foundation.

18Deɛ mɛka ho asɛm ara ne sɛdeɛ Kristo nam deɛ maka ne deɛ mayɛ so ama amanamanmufoɔ ayɛ ɔsetie ama Onyankopɔn. 19Saa nsɛnkyerɛnneɛ ne anwanwadeɛ yi yɛ tumi a ɛfiri Honhom no mu. Enti, ɛfiri Yerusalem kɔka Iliriko, mapae mu aka Kristo Asɛmpa no nyinaa. 20Na me botaeɛ ne sɛ, daa mɛka asɛmpa no wɔ mmeammea a wɔntee Kristo ho asɛm da no, na ankɔyɛ sɛ mesii dan wɔ obi fapem so. 21Mmom sɛdeɛ wɔatwerɛ no:
“Wɔn a wɔnkaa ne ho asɛm nkyerɛɛ wɔn no bɛhunu,
na wɔn a wɔnteeɛ no nso bɛte aseɛ.” 22Yei enti na ɛberɛ biara a mepɛ sɛ meba mo nkyɛn no, biribi si me ɛkwan.
