But one after another they all began to make excuses. The first one said, ‘I have bought a field, and I need to go see it. Please excuse me.’

Deɛ ɔdi ɛkan no yii ne ho ano sɛ, ‘Matɔ asase a ɛnnɛ na ɛsɛ sɛ mekɔhwɛ enti mesrɛ no sɛ merentumi mma.’ 19“Na ɔfoforɔ nso yii ne ho ano sɛ, ‘Matɔ anantwie edu a mede wɔn bɛyɛ mʼafuo a ɛnnɛ na ɛsɛ sɛ mekɔsɔ wɔn hwɛ enti mesrɛ no sɛ merentumi mma.’ 20“Ɔfoforɔ bi nso yii ne ho ano sɛ, ‘Afei na maware, enti merentumi mma.’
